Describe a real-life situation in which jealousy negatively affected a relationship you experienced.

Prompt : Describe a real-life situation in which jealousy negatively affected a relationship you experienced.

Prompt Response:

I never been in a relationship for that to happen nor did it happen between any normal relationships I have with my friends or family. Unless we are talking about my childhood drama with this girl I was supposedly friends with in elementry, Nicole was her name and she was jealous of me being friends with this other girl I ride the bus with, always making threats to stop being friends with me if I continued to hang out with the other girl. Of course I somewhat did listen to her for a bit because I was scared of being disliked and losing friends, but I still went back to talking to the other girl either way. From that day we weren't friends anymore.

Summary:

Today we read the text "The Jealous Father" with Mr. Rease, it turns out we find out how a robin was created in the end and the assignment today was to work with your group for a project. We would take the rest of the class time to work together into a powerpoint, assigned with different roles to work on and following the presentation norms.

Reflection:

What I took from this lesson was that the conflict was from the very beginning of the story and probably way before that if the father was already jealous of his son in the story, I felt a little dumb for not recognizing that but I'll keep an eye out for possibilities of that now, I learn a little something each day.
