Prompt: If you were to compose a poem about one aspect of your life, which topic would it fall into and what would your overall life's message be?

Prompt Response:
If I were to compose one, the topic would be Memory and the overall message would be to cherish the present and learn from the past. Why I chose Memory is because I have this bad habit of missing the past and always thinking how simple things really were, I always recall the memories and keep whatever I can have from the past. If I were to cherish the present I wouldn't need to feel like I missed out on things in the future.

Summary:

Today we completed analyzing the other two poems of Emily Dickinson, "I heard a Fly buzz - when I died - (591)" and "Hope' is the thing with feathers", we went more quickly than usual and afterwards we would be doing our assignment of a Song playlist based on these poems. 5 songs in total and it was due today, we weren't able to complete another assignment due to the lack of time and it was pushed till Friday.

Reflection:

One thing I would've learned from analyzing these poems is nothing too much because I still cannot comprehend how Mr. Rease immediately understands the form of language these Poems speak. I guess I learned that I need to still work on my skills and will need to review on the poem we analyzed.
