Prompt: You are currently working on a soundtrack for selected Emily Dickinson poems. With that in mind, if asked to choose a song to describe your life right now, which song would you select and why?

Prompt Response:

There isn't a song that would accurately describe my life right now but I can think of my favorite songs that have a good upbeat rhythm. "Dancing with Myself" by Billy Idol is a song I liked a lot, it's been a part of my childhood from the intro of this movie "Flushed Away" and I loved it ever since. I was a much younger kid who had no knowledge of music or how to find music, it brings good vibes and I chose it to describe my life because its been there for a long while and most my playlists have upbeat songs.

Summary:

Today we took a quiz based on Emily Dickinson's poems and I had the version A, of course during the test I knew I was NOT going to make it through since I lack common sense with poems no matter what. Then we transferred our answers into illuminate, afterwards I checked my grade and dear goodness my intuition was right, I did NOT do well.

Reflection:

Based on how I performed on this test, I knew from that moment on I needed to work on my skills in poetry, immensely. I can only accept defeat and this failed grade and do better next time.
