Write about a time you didn’t feel like yourself.

Prompt: Write about a time you didn’t feel like yourself.

Prompt Response:

I don't think there was a time when I didn't feel like myself, I had always been myself whether that's a good thing or not. I haven't changed as much nor do I barely act different from myself towards other people. I like to stay consistent with myself and I never liked the idea of stepping out of my comfort zone so I stayed the same.

Summary:

Today we worked on Martin Luther King Jr.'s speech, with a worksheet and Mr Rease, we read through the speech and pointed out anything that referred to any rhetorical device. It helped us gain some experience and a different perspective, so we can be ready for the quiz/test next Tuesday. We managed to finish by the end of class with a lot of time to spare.

Reflection:

I liked the practice of using and spotting out these rhetorical devices through such an important speech, it did change my perspective to notice how these devices can be used.
