Prompt: If you had to write a poem about your life RIGHT NOW, what would it be about? Explain your answer in at least 4 to 5 sentences.

Prompt Response:

If I were to write a poem about my life right now, it would be about absolute boredom and relaxation. I get bored a lot from school, I don't get any motivation for it nor do I have any inspiring goals to reach. I only have one friend and they're in a different county, we barely get to see each other so I get bored without her. I feel relaxed most of the time too since I hate feeling stressed, I can still be happy and enjoy things, so basically the poem will just be about how I can get bored but happy at the same time.

Summary:

Today we wrote down notes on Rhetorical Analysis with Mr. Rease, with a sheet of paper we wrote down what was on the board. We did this for the rest of class, learning what it is and how to write a thesis. We also looked over examples from President Trumps' and Martin Luther King Jr's speech, using rhetorical analysis. After this class we would go to our homerooms to wait for the prep rally.

Refleciton:

I can reflect that I learned what a Rhetorical Analysis is and how to write a thesis again, while also learning about how it can be used when it comes to speeches or other works.
