Prompt: What is the most challenging part of writing an essay for you? Is it brainstorming, organizing ideas, writing a strong thesis, or something else? How do you  plan to overcome this challenge?

Prompt Response:

The most challenging part of writing an essay for me really depends, I can be good on one part and be stuck on anything else, I was not the brightest when it comes to writing essays growing up. I was good once in elementary, but eventually over time I became worse and not my strongest suit. I can struggle with brainstorming because I lack ideas but then again I can effortlessly get through it just fine in different cases. I think I struggled overthinking when writing a thesis. I overcome this challenge whenever I can, the last time I had to write essays was last year and that was my worst year mentally, so I gave up pretty easily, however, I feel a bit more determined to improve this year.

Summary:

Today we continued to finish writing down the Rhetorical Paragraph we did yesterday, Monday, we would type down what we wrote on the paper into the assignment and complete the rest of it during class. A lot of people did not complete the paragraph yesterday, so we redeemed ourselves today.

Reflecxtion:

I can reflect that I did not struggle as much as I thought I would, I seemed to be getting better on using the rhetorical devices and I'm starting to really get used to them.
