Prompt: In “The Interlopers” by Saki, Ulrich and Georg view each other as interlopers, outsiders intruding on their land and their lives. Think about a time when you felt like an interloper or when someone else felt out of place in your world. How did that situation affect relationships, emotions, or outcomes?

Prompt Response:

I don't think there was ever a time when someone else was an interloper in my life, but there would be times when I felt like an interloper, I feel it whenever I'm with the friends of a friend of mine. Like an intruder in their conversations and it makes things awkward that I never know how to respond. So many times I was either a third wheel or just someone randomly brought into their group, in elementary I liked to intrude a few times because I only had one friend. It was clear they found it awkward with me there.

Summary:

Today Mr. Rease wasn't here so we had to work on our assignment in Commonlit, which I must admit I haven't used in many years, we had to read the passage "The Interlopers" and answer questions. There were 6 questions at first then an assessment consisting of 7 multiple choice questions and 2 text prompts. After finishing the assignment, there would be a blog to finish.

Reflection:

I learned some interesting words in the passage, I doubt I'll remember them and that I enjoyed the passage so answering the questions wasn't too much of a problem for me. It was a nice change of things and gave me some good practice after a long time.
