Prompt: Write about a time when you realized you needed to look out for yourself in a silly or harmless situation—maybe dodging a pop quiz, escaping a group chat argument, or remembering at the last second to submit an assignment. How did choosing wisely make your life easier?

Prompt Response:

When it came to having constant problems of forgetting about my assignments or homework, by the time I remember them I work on it last second. To solve this problem I got myself and agenda where I can write down any present and future work I need to do and prepare for. This made my life easier, I have less missing assignments than last year when I had no agenda to help me. Although I sometimes get the same problem by forgetting to check my agenda, it still helps me anyway.

Summary:

Today we finished reading the rest of the text, "The Life You Save May Be Your Own" by Flannery O'Conner, and instead of us reading it out loud, Mr. Rease played an audio to read it for us. Most of us had trouble paying attention or staying awake, then after finishing the text  he played a small film made by people that summarizes the story. By the time we were done we worked on the rest of the 17 questions that weren't done yet.

Reflection:

I learned about my level of understanding when it came to answering the questions of the assignment, although I can remember Mr. Rease talking about key points in some paragraphs, I cannot seem to write good direct answers. I guess this will be good practice for me to take advantage of.
