In the spirit of Valentine’s Day week, describe your idea of a perfect day spent with someone you care about (a friend, family member, or significant person in your life).

Prompt: In the spirit of Valentine’s Day week, describe your idea of a perfect day spent with someone you care about (a friend, family member, or significant person in your life).

Prompt Response:

For Valentines day, I really wanted to go out with my friend, unfortunately I do not think she will be able to. This will be the billionth time when she is barely allowed to go outside with friends, it gets really lonely on my part. If things work out, I plan to give her my gift and maybe go to a roller skating rink, park, bookstore, or any other store to eye shop at. It can also just be a simple hang out at my house, I just like hanging out with her.

Summary:

Today we looked over the prompt about Barack Obama's Primary Concession Speech, and filled in information on the Rhetorical Analysis Planning Guide. We only managed to complete step one and two, we were supposed to read the passage and annotate for rhetorical appeals, devices, and choices.

Reflection:

I can reflect that I understood what we were doing and that it was easy to understand Obama's speech, I wasn't fast and pro like Mr. Rease to spot them all but it was nice to see how the devices were used and it helps me gain some experience.
